First I gave you the linking method of memorizing lists. Then I gave you the phonetic alphabet code for converting between numbers and words, and finally I showed you how to use that code to randomly access 10 pegs to store other lists.
But 10 pegs isn’t really that many–certainly not enough to memorize the order of a deck of playing cards or the presidents of the United States. Today I’ll give you 100 pegs. Each one of these words converts to its corresponding number in the list using the phonetic alphabet code.
Memorize the list using the linking method to create a story from hat all the way to daisies. Then you should be able to recall any item in the list by number using the phonetic alphabet code, or go through your list sequentially using the linking.
