- Walk Score - Walk Score helps people find walkable places to live. Walk Score calculates the walkability of an address by locating nearby stores, restaurants, schools, parks, etc.

- MappyHour - Select your city and find the pubs with the best happy hour specials. Their database seems a bit sparse so chip in and add information about specials at bars in your area.

- Wines and Times - This is useful for planning your next winery trip. They claim to have over 3200 wineries in their database.

- WikiMapia - A mashup of a wiki and google maps. Contains user-contributed content pinned to a geographical location.

- Taxi Fare Finder - Available for New York City, Boston, Chicago, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Toronto. Pick your starting point and destination and it will calculate an approximate cab fare.

- Housing Maps - A mashup of craigslist housing classifieds and google maps. Outstanding! Now, if only they would add St. Louis.

- WalkJogRun - This is a route planner and distance/speed calculator. You can also add routes to the map for others to see and browse routes in your neighborhood.

- ip-adress - This will show you the approximate geographical location of a machine, given an ip address.

- NPA-NXX Geolocator - Given the area code and first 3 digits of a phone number in the USA or Canada it will show you approximately where that land-line is.

- AP News + Google Maps - Browse the latest AP News articles by location. This is a fun way to take in the news.
